Bowling Green Country Club, nestled in the northern neck of the Shenandoah against the backdrop of the striking Blue Ridge Mountains and landscape dotted by 19th century farmhouses.
Bowling Green Country Club is a premier, family oriented 36-hole semi-private country club, with four sets of tees on both courses. The practice facilities which include the only true green grass driving range in the area, a bunker and two putting greens makes Bowling Green Country Club the perfect place for juniors to learn and improve.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
Intro Camps are geared towards new golfers looking for an introductory course. The camp focuses on teaching the fundamentals, rules, safety and having fun! The camps are for juniors, ages 5-10, and run from 9:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday (six total hours of instruction).

Tommy Smith, PGA - Camp Director
Tommy serves as the PGA Director of Instruction at Bowling Green CC. Tommy has been a member of the PGA of America for 32 years, and has served as an assistant professional, head golf professional and as a general manager. For nine years, Tommy served as Director of Junior Golf at Army Navy Country Club, where he developed one of the finest junior golf programs in the country with over 350 active participants. He has achieved the prestigious distinction of Master Junior Golf Instructor by the PGA of America and the U.S. Kids Golf.
