Juniors will enjoying honing new skills on Arrowhead’s extensive practice facilities including a driving range featuring grass matting, putting green and short game area.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
John Cassidy is a Class A PGA instructor at Arrowhead Golf and Athletic Club. John played college golf at The University of Nevada 2004-2006 and was named all-conference and team captain senior year. His other accomplishments include:
As John states “I enjoy teaching juniors because it takes me back to the people and times that created opportunities for me growing up and my hope is that these kids can grow up playing the game and receiving all the great rewards this game provides. No other sport will teach a kid more about themselves and life than golf, and not to mention the great memories and friends we make along the way. Creating opportunity for kids to play the game is important to me and the future of golf, I want as many kids to enjoy this great game as much as I have.” His goal is help each student understand the most efficient way for them to play the game and to reach their goals; no two golf swings are the same and just like our fingerprints our swings should be unique. I want to identify the swing that fits each individuals body and help them own that motion.
