Serving the community since 1964, Alta Sierra Country Club offers golfers of all ages and skill levels an enjoyable golf experience. Each hole of their par-72 golf course has its own distinctive character, giving players a mixture of fun and challenge throughout the day. With Alta Sierra's complete practice facility including range, putting green and short game area, there's no better place for juniors to learn and hone new golf skills.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
Modified Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for advanced beginner to intermediate level golfers to continue to improve their technical skills but also begin the process of understanding course management, shot selection and simple stat tracking. Participants are segmented into small groups based on their experience level to create a more favorable learning environment. Lunch and course play is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate.

Brian Glosser, PGA-Camp Director
Growing up in Northern California, Brian Glosser has been around golf his entire life spending numerous summers playing golf and attending junior camps at Orinda Country Club where his grandparents were members most of his childhood. Brian began playing amateur golf tournaments after college with success and quickly realized he wanted to become a PGA Golf Professional and make golf business and golf instruction his lifelong career. He has worked under highly-respected teaching pros Mike Bender and Keith Lyford all recognized as national “Top 100 Teachers”. Learning from these experienced teachers, as well as adding his own creativity, has allowed Brian to become one of Northern California’s top PGA Teaching Professionals.
