Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Pee Wee Camps are a fun introduction to golf fundamentals such as stance, gripping, putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. They will also learn basic golf safety, rules and etiquette — all while having fun! The instruction will include game-based teaching methods to reinforce the fun side of golf. There will also be activities that work on balance, coordination, locomotion, and body awareness to help the campers improve their overall athletic skills. Skill Level: Beginner.

Instructor

Leah Berst, PGA - Camp Director

Leah has been a member of the PGA of America since 1987 achieving quarter century membership status in 2012. She is trained in the instructional principles taught by the PGA. In order to stay current with her PGA membership she continues to attend continuing education teaching workshops and seminars. She currently serves on The Northern Texas PGA Board as an At Large Director. She is the first elected female to serve on the NTPGA Board. Leah moved to Dallas in 1984 and has during that time worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Northwood Club and as an Assistant and Head Golf Professional at Stonebriar C.C.and is currently the owner and Director of Instruction of The Golf ...More Institute. Prior to living in Dallas she was an assistant golf professional in Florida. She also played golf and graduated from Florida State University. Leah’s background knowledge comes from a lifetime of playing, studying, and understanding the game. Leah has given more than 29,000 golf lessons to date, since becoming a golf professional. Most recently, Leah was the 2019 winner of the North Texas PGA Player Development Award.

Family's are always welcomed at our 18 hole, par 3 mini golf course. The newly renovated and beautifully landscaped course was designed to challenge players of all skills and abilities. The team is extremely excited to work with all juniors, both new to the game and those who are interested in taking the sport to the next level. Our staff is passionate about growing the game, making the experience fun, as well as creating a welcoming environment for all youth. Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
