Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Chris Hatzke, PGA - Camp Director

Chris has been with KemperSports for 17 years, working at all levels of golf operations during his tenure. Most recently, Chris served as the head golf professional at Paradise Valley Golf Club in Fairfield, California, a position that he worked his way to after starting in guest services. Chris has vast tournament coordinator and event/league booking experience to go along with a passion for building innovative grassroots programming. One example is Chris' role in helping launch the Fairfield Golf Academy, which has seen huge growth in its player development offerings, especially for junior and women golfers. Chris' experience with developing new programming and finding ways to create fun activities and events at the venue will serve all clients and ...More the residents of Clark County well. Chris loves seeing people have fun at the golf course and he is committed to creating happy, loyal customers. His passion for the golf business is rooted in a desire to provide a place for friends and families to enjoy the best day of their week. When he's not pursuing his passion at work, he loves traveling, cheering for his favorite sports teams, and playing golf for fun while still being competitive. Most of all, Chris enjoys spending time with his son, sightseeing, and pursuing new adventures.

The Club at Sunrise

Originally opened as The Winterwood Golf Club, The Club at Sunrise was designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee in 1964. As part of the larger Las Vegas Wash Project, the club re-emerged in 2016 after undergoing a full renovation by golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper. At 6,503 yards, the par-72 golf course offers a unique golfing experience with picturesque golf holes carefully contoured and designed to appeal to juniors of all levels and ages. The facility features a driving range and short game practice area, a perfect place for juniors to learn and hone new golf skills.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Scholarships

Annual Membership Fees

An additional fee for those programs that meet annual membership fee criteria.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
