Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Tom Morton, PGA - Camp Director

Born in Sacramento, Tom has been raised at Haggin Oaks since the age of 5. His golf career was fostered through the Haggin Oaks Junior Golf Programs and through his father and five-time national PGA award winner, Ken Morton, Sr. Tom has played tournament golf since the Little Linker program at age 7, leading him to the Junior Golf Association of Northern California Tour and American Junior Golf Association events. His scholastic achievements and golf game enabled Tom to receive a golf scholarship to the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he played competitively for 4 year. As the PGA Director of Player Development for Morton Golf & The First Tee of Greater Sacramento, Tom designs and coaches many programs ...More. His philosophy is that the game has two types of motions, finesse and power swings, but the main goal is to always…HAVE FUN! He believes that each individual has their own golf blueprint based on current beliefs and body function and his job is to improve the blueprint for maximum success and enjoyment.

William Land & Bing Maloney Golf Courses

This unique half day camp includes play at both William Land and Bing Maloney Golf Courses, conveniently located in the heart of Sacramento. WIlliam Land and Bing Maloney are perfectly designed to help juniors learn and play the great game of golf in a fun, engaging environment. William Land is a 9-hole golf course, located in the scenic William Land Park. Bing Maloney boasts Express-9, an executive, 9-hole course and newly covered driving range added in 2017. There's no better combination in the Sacramento region for junior golfers! Please Note: Camp schedule will rotate between Bing Maloney and William Land as follows: Monday/Thursday at Bing Maloney; Tuesday/Wednesday at William Land. Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Junior Golf Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Junior Golf Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Junior Golf Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Scholarships

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
