Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.

Instructor

Josh Snider, PGA - Camp Director

Josh Snider is a certified PGA Professional since 1988 and Director of Instruction at The Golf Academy. He is the former Director of Golf at Oxmoor Country Club. He has been fortunate enough to run junior programs at all three golf facilities that have had a tremendous impact on kids playing golf at the highest competitive levels. Josh has always had a commitment to improve his knowledge of the golf swing, fitness, mental training and teaching techniques so that he can assist players of any ability with their golf game. He has taught golf for over 20 years with students achieving tournament victories both regionally & nationally, and his students played for local high schools, many going on to play college ...More DI-DIII programs. His Professional Achievements Include: KY PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 1998, PGA Certified Professional – Instruction 2008, TPI Certified Instructional in 2014. Josh is a Louisville native, and discovered his passion for the game of golf as a caddy at Valhalla Golf Club prior to becoming a PGA Professional.

Persimmon Ridge

The 18-hole championship course design uses the natural features of the land to create one of the nation's most challenging and beautiful golf experiences. The course boasts a 23-acre practice facility including an indoor/outdoor teaching academy and target area on the range. A consistent host to many state, regional, and national golf championships, this gorgeous Arthur Hills design both challenges and excites golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
