Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Dan Awe, Camp Co-Director
Daniel, a former Director of Instruction at Cold Springs Country Club, has taught over 15,000 golfers, from beginners to experts. He created a junior program to prepare young golfers for tournament success and help them use golf for personal growth. Daniel dedicates himself to understanding why tour pros excel. He aims to provide factual information to help his students improve, with a tailored plan for hitting desired shots more often. With over 20 years of experience, Daniel holds a career low round of 64 and was a Long Drive competitor with a longest drive of 445 yards. However, he finds his favorite part of golf in putting and shots from 100 yards and in. His motto is,

Mather Golf Course
Along with an 18-hole championship golf course, the property features a junior friendly practice facility. Juniors have access to a putting green, chipping green, driving range with grass and artificial turf stalls and a practice hole! Because of the variety of facilities, Mather has something to offer for all types of golfers. The staff at Mather Golf Course are passionate about growing the next generation of golfers. They are excited to help juniors develop their skills in a supportive and fun environment!
