This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
Set on nearly 70 acres, the 9-hole course was built in 1955, designed by Al Zikoris. Butternut Brook runs through parts of the property and feeds two ponds. Scenic, friendly, laid-back Stonybrook Golf Course is one of the most challenging nine hole courses in Connecticut. The expertly manicured grounds provide a friendly, country atmosphere. Stonybrook is the perfect place for young golfers to learn the game of a lifetime.
PGA Junior Golf Camps are also being held at our sister facility at Fairview Farm Golf Course.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
PGA Golf Professional Bob Sparks has taught players of all ages and abilities for 15 years. His education began at The Golf Academy of the South where he graduated third in his class. Bob was elected to PGA membership in 1998 after completing the Golf Professional Training Program with The PGA of America.
Bob’s philosophy in teaching golf begins with an understanding of how the club works. His beliefs are most players are overloaded with too much information, and are not focused enough on what the club is doing at impact (the moment of truth). Bob believes in trying to put more emphasis on the athlete in you instead of the robot in you. Also, the importance of the short game is often taken too lightly and Bob will be quick to tell any player that an improved short game is surely the quickest route to lower scores. Bob is a passionate about teaching young golfers to play the game of a lifetime, and his awards and achievements include:
Please Note: Tuition does not include an annual, one-time, non-refundable registration fee.
