This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
Located in Castro Valley, the 18 hole golf facility is nestled away among the rolling hills of the east bay and is home to some of the most beautiful golf scenery in Northern California. Completely surrounded by breathtaking natural wild life including the San Leandro creek which comes into play on nearly every hole, the course offers some of the most unique golf around and is truly enjoyable for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Young golfers will enjoy honing their new skills on Redwood Canyon’s practice putting green and lighted driving range.
Full Day camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and are designed for boys & girls between the ages of 10 – 17. All ability levels are welcome.
Full Day camps provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to improve their technical skills as well as develop strong course management skills. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible.
Each day kicks off with three hours of hands-on instruction and includes drills, training exercises, and skill-development inspired games all designed to teach juniors what they need to know to have fun and feel confident on the course. Morning instruction is followed by lunch and then nine holes of course play with a PGA professional.
The use of golf teaching technologies will be utilized with ongoing ‘camper updates’ sent to parents throughout the course of the week to keep parents apprised of his or her child’s progress.
At most locations, the week culminates with a fun golf-centric team competition in which parents are welcome to play alongside their child as well.
Half Day camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon and are designed for boys & girls between the ages of 6 – 14. All ability levels are welcome, with kids being segmented into smaller learning groups based on their experience levels.
Half Day programs are designed for the ‘new junior golfer’ and up through those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. For three hours each day, campers learn or hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf fundamentals and well as fun!
The use of golf teaching technologies will be utilized with a ‘camper update’ sent to parents throughout the week to share with parents his or her child’s accomplishments.
