This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
The Piedmont Golf Club has an 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio. The golf course at Piedmont Golf Club is a true Fazio classic, with its generous fairways and medium-sized subtle greens. It is challenging, yet player friendly, and is described as one of the fairest, most enjoyable and best-conditioned Northern Virginia golf courses. Your young golfer will enjoy honing new skills at the driving range with a grass tee, five target greens with bunkers, and a chipping and bunker practice area.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Full Day Camps (ages 9-16) provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to learn or improve their technical skills as well as develop strong course management skills. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Lunch is provided for full day campers.
Half Day Camps (ages 7-13) are designed to create the “new junior golfer” up through those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. For three hours each day, campers learn or hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals and well as fun!
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
Monty has been a PGA Professional for over 23 years. Originally from London, England where he was a professional soccer player and Certified Accountant, he has been at Piedmont since it’s opening in 2001. Before Piedmont Club, Monty was the Head Golf Professional at Harbor Club, on Lake Oconee, in Georgia. He is dedicated to growing the game through Junior and player development programs and is on the advisory board of the local First Tee Program in Northern Virginia as well as helping organizations reach their goals through the game of golf.
