This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
William P. Bell, whose early works included Bel-Air Country Club and Riviera Country Club, designed the original eighteen holes in 1946. As they stood at the foot of the great Valley Oak, Billy Bell stated, “This is a great site for a golf course.” Architect Robert Muir Graves designed the River Nine and after many years of negotiations, the 150 acre combination of riparian habitat and golf course was constructed in 1996. In 1998 architect John Harbottle, who had overseen reconstruction of Los Angeles Country Club and design of Stanford Golf Course, supervised reconstruction of all tees, greens and bunkers and also redesigned the #9 Bluff hole in 2002.
In addition to its 27 hole championship course, Del Rio Country Club offers a complete practice facility spanning over 26,000 square feet. Young golfers will enjoy learning the game on its 1.5 acres of grass tee surface at the driving range, three green side bunkers as well as a putting green and chipping area.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
